meeting.pl – a Supporting Member of the “Conferences and Congresses in Poland” Association
meeting.pl has become a Supporting Member of the “Conferences and Congresses in Poland” Association (SKKP). This is the oldest organisation in the Polish conference and congress industry. It was established in 1998 as a bottom-up initiative of the pioneers of the Polish business tourism, who decided to cooperate to develop neglected aspects of this industry, including infrastructure and products, as well as to create a modern foundation for the Meeting Industry, in compliance with international standards. The Association comprises about 80 members – companies from the conference industry, including business hotels, conference centres, conference and event organisers as well as individuals – professional congress organisers. The “Conferences and Congresses in Poland” Association conducts important projects aiming at developing a system of norms and quality assurance of services for business, certification of the services of congress organisers’ , protecting the profession of a professional congress organiser and developing an industry code of professional ethics. The Association cooperates with: the Polish network of Convention Bureaus, the Polish Tourist Organisation, government and self-government structures of tourism and economic administration, industry media and economic organisations.
Membership in the Association is a recommendation of professionalism, confirmed by the Association’s Certificate.
